I SO wish I were more clever, and had a better name for my everyday wear than, "Mom Uniform", but I don't, so there you have it. (I am taking suggestions.)
I wore this Thursday to work a little at Jay's office and volunteer at my Zach's school. I got the dress on Black Friday mayhem at Anthro. I know it was a big reject for a lot of people online, but I really love it. It is like wearing pj's!
I told you this necklace really goes with a lot of things....
I got my hair cut last week, can you tell she cut a lot off? I felt scalped. Needless to say, I won't be going back for a while.
Have you ever had a bad haircut? If so, what happened?

OOTD Catch-Up
I forgot I took pics of this OOTD for you, partly b/c the pics came out a little dark.
I am so glad I ordered this tank, and can't wait for it to hit sale so I can get the other color too.
Also, I got my hair done for the first time since moving here, and I LOVE it. She fixed my color problem from last time where it came out orange-ish by adding lowlights in a darker shade and bumping up the blond to an ashy white. I think it look so much better. I also got long bangs and a lot more layers. Actually, she cut quite a bit of hair off, but it is still very long. I think I will do a hair post soon. (Sorry about the bangs, Susan. I just couldn't take it any more. It was either that or cut it all short!) I was going for this and it is very close:

Super-Duper Comfy OOTD
Well, I am calling it a day. A COMFY day!
I went to the gym this morning, then straight to meet my friend Susan. (Don't say anything, you KNOW you have done it too. Stopping by the grocery store counts.)
Then I ran a couple of errands and started laundry and showered. So I reached for my new comfy cargo-ish Anthro pants, and a J Crew fishermans sweater I thrifted. I decided to take my leftovers and my kids to go visit Memaw. We hung out with her and got her other grandkids on Skype so she could see them and shared dinner with her.
My new watch came today, but I feel like I have messed it up. I thought the ribbon was turquoise- which is why I ordered it. And it is WAY big on my wrist. What do you think? It was only $9.95+$6.99 shipping, so am I thinking too much about this, or should I return towards something else I am watching? (Shoes!) I may be running up to Richmond with Allie soon.
As many of you know, I have very long hair, and it can be time consuming to fix. There are times where I would like to just put it in a bun and go, but I never could find a way to fix it that didn't pull on the top of my head, and give me a headache- besides a ponytail. I have looked everywhere for those chopstix thingies, but I can't find any. Well..... The other day I was in Target looking for a hairdryer (I can do some major damage to a blow dryer too!), and I was also looking at the hair stuff. I saw these twisty things that hold your hair without pulling, and no ponytail holder involved. (I looked it up, they are called the Spin Pin, by Goody) I tried it today and it was SO easy! I love them.
It comes with two pins, and you just basically ball up your hair and then twist one pin downward, and one upward. It holds firmly, but not tight.

30 for 30, Days 7 & 6 (Girl, I Got My Hair Dun!)
I know. It is really no big reveal. I have had the same hair since 1976. Blame it on my husband. He loves babies babes with long, blond hair. I have tried other things- to no avail. He likes the 1994 version of me. (The girl he met at McDonalds.)
Not much difference, huh? Read: Boooooriiiiing. I blame Jay.
Here are my OOTD's.
We went out on a DATE last night. Shhhhh, don't tell the kids. They like to pretend we don't like each other that much.
Then today, I had a hair appt, my sister came over so we could play, my in-laws came and had dinner. Then I got to spend a delicious hour (okay, it was longer than that!) with my buddy/neighbor Rhonda.

| Zach & Madelyn (my niece) were determined to be in the pictures. This is me trying to keep them out. |
