Touring Fun (Pt.2)

After our lovely overnight in Key Largo, we returned to Miami, and checked in to the lovely North Miami Turnberry Isle Resort. We were swept away with the hospitality offered by the staff, as well as the beauty of the grounds. Lining the drive from the street to the resort were multiple luxury vehicles, which we "Ooo'd" and "Aaah'd" over, as we texted photo's back to our teenaged sons.

This resort was located directly across the street from the enormous Aventura Shopping area, featuring over 2 million square feet of fabulous shopping and dining fun! We were also surrounded by a fantastic running trail, which I took full advantage of. The weather was gorgeous, and I drank in the luxurious surroundings of fountains, lush tropical foliage and sunshine.

Geico always does a great job of choosing events that showcase the city in which the conference takes place, while being very conscious of the fiscal responsibility of the company (and as a Geico policy holder, I appreciate that thoughtfulness.) The first day of the conference, we attended a horse race at the beautiful Gulfstream Park.
We had a tour of the stables, lunch and the opportunity to watch a race from the Winner's Circle. Here are a few of my photographs from the day.
