Here I Go, There I Go, Everywhere I Go-Go

I feel like I have run around like a chicken with my head cut off (that really happens, you know), but can't tell you what I have done that amounts to much!
Here are some OOTD catch-ups.
From Friday:

Serious and Stylish? No. Just Gooberish.

Sweater: Thrifted
Shirt: Loosely Looped, Anthro
Pants: Linen Lounge, Anthro
Shoes: Merona Wedge Sandal, Target
Earrings: Black Rhinestone Hoops, Old Navy

From Sunday:
What is the wonky thing going on with my hair?

Note to self:
Never take OOTD pics with Little Man around.
Ever.

Sweater: Coin-Purse Cardigan, Anthro
Shirt: Blue Book Blouse, Anthro
Belt: Old Navy (similar to Anthro's Snakebite, but only $2!)
Skirt: Old Navy
Shoes: Gianni Bini, Dillards
Earrings: Thrifted (they look like turquoise bobbers- for all you fisherwomen)
Then I ran home and switched a few things out to drive up to Williamsburg with the boys. Little Man wanted to hit the Van's outlet, and my teens wanted to go to the Pac-Sun outlet. I wanted to go to the J Crew outlet.
Shirt: Velvet Cowlneck tee, Anthro
Skirt: Old Navy
Shoes: Urban Outfitters
Earrings: Brown wooden balls, from my niece Emma
(they were big and ugly, so Dee Dee would love them!)

Oops! I forgot to talk about what was behind me in the pics- which was the point of moving around the house...
The dining table is from Great Bridge Furniture from 2003, and was strictly kid-purchased. The body is all solid wood, but the top is laminate, and cleaning is a BREEZE. That is it's sole function.  I always try to keep interesting tablescapes on it, since it can be seen in the entry/living room.  My absolute favorites are vintage table linens and sometimes I catch Anthro cloth napkins and placemats on clearance. But I never pay full-price for that stuff.  I pick up fresh flowers about every 10 days or so for the table, and Jay likes it too. If I go too long without buying them, he gets them for me. We usually get something seasonal.  I am not a big fan of red roses or carnations, so the rule is pretty much anything but that. Haha!
The hutch is from my aunt. I admired it for YEARS, and when we moved to Iowa, she gave it to me. I love family pieces. They mean so much more than a store-bought piece.
The credenza is also from my father in law- from cleaning out his mother's home.
The light was a special order from Home Depot, but still a steal, as it was on clearance.  We replaced the hideous light that had about 1,000 pieces of rectangular glass on hooks. But we sold it at a yard sale for $10!
The color of paint on the upper portion of the walls is "Castle Path" and the bottoms is "Mocha Accent" by Behr. The ceiling is painted blue. I love Nate Berkus, and have his decorating book. He said in that book that everyone should paint their ceiling a color and not white. And since he is so cute, I had to do what he said.  I ABSOLUTELY love it! It was a lot of work, but I will always have blue ceilings in every house I ever live in from now on.  It is one of those details that sort-of goes unnoticed, but makes a room warmer. I can't tell you how many times I have walked into that room, and looked at the ceiling. Silly? Maybe, but it makes me happy.
Okay, that is all I can think of... I still have a headache, so if you have a question about something I have forgotten, just ask! :)

Kara- are you kidding me?! He went to the outlets when he was ONE week old. (I had to return all the girl stuff I bought after he came out a boy!) He knows where it's AT. Do the jumping. It is much more fun than standing there. But the kids think I am crazy! I miss you!
